Sydney is the most livable city we have ever visited. It has better and more fun shopping than anywhere we have been. The place is friendly, clean, safe and reasonably inexpensive. It has a lot of appeal as a place to visit or live.

I had my second navigation lesson on the bridge. Here's one of the cadet officers plotting our position from my measurements. He said having been at sea for so much of his life it was his first time to Tulsa. Thank God for GPS.
I got up at 5:30 in the morning so I could see our approach to Sidney. although it is a beautiful boat ride into the harbor, it didn't come close to compensating for the loss of sleep.
Sidney sent a fireboat to give us a warm welcome.
The famous Sidney Opera House.
Circular Quay, the centerpiece of the harbor.
One of the many shopping malls before the crowds got there.
The six pictures above show the exterior and some of the interior details of one of the more beautiful shopping malls in Sidney.
At lunch.....guess what? More salads and fish!!!
The old British influence on many of the buildings is very strong.
The first QE II.
Donna can't stay away from those burgers.
We had dinner in a lovely restaurant on Circular Quay on the opposite side from where the ship was docked.
Just before a romantic dinner on Circular Quay.
On the second day we were in Sidney it rained. We took a tourist bus on a two hour trip around the city. It was a lovely day to spend inside the bus.
