I had my second navigation
lesson on the bridge. Here's one of the cadet officers plotting our position
from my measurements. He said having been at sea for so much of his life
it was his first time to Tulsa. Thank God for GPS. |
I got up at 5:30 in the morning so
I could see our approach to Sidney. although it is a beautiful boat ride
into the harbor, it didn't come close to compensating for the loss of
sleep. |

were in Sidney it rained. We took a tourist bus on a two hour trip around
the city. It was a lovely day to spend inside the bus. |
